  • What references to I have to provide?
    Tenants must provide a employers reference and a previous landlord reference.
    Financial Reference – proof of salary or copies of bank statements. Landlords will want to know that you can afford the rent.

  • How much is the security deposit?
    As a rule of thumb, the security deposit usually equates to one month’s rent. Some landlords will insist on larger security deposits.
  • What is a holding deposit?
    Any tenant wishing to take a rental property must pay a holding deposit in order for the property to be taken off the market. The holding deposit is deductible from the balance due on the security deposit. Holding deposits are generally non-refundable if you change your mind about taking the property.
  • Do I have to sign a lease?
    Yes, All the properties we let and manage require tenant’s to sign a lease. The lease outlined the rights and obligations for both the landlord and the tenant.
  • Who is responsible for utility charges?
    It is the responsibility of the tenant to pay all utility charges unless the lease states otherwise.
  • Who maintains the garden?
    Where the property has a garden it is the tenant’s responsibility to keep it neat and tidy, this includes cutting the grass unless the lease states otherwise.
  • How do I pay the rent?
    All rents must be paid by standing order and must arrive in our account on the due date. Late payments may incur extra charges.
